Thatcham
Thatcham is a busy commercial centre within Berkshire and has excellent road and rail communications. The town is situated 3 miles to the east of Newbury, 14 miles to the west of Reading and 14 miles to the north-west of Basingstoke.
Thatcham station provides a regular service to London Paddington with a journey time of approximately 50 minutes. Services to Waterloo are from Basingstoke station with journey times of approximately 45 minutes.
Calleva Park - Aldermaston
Calleva Park is a large business park of over 130 office and business units, set in the Reading, Newbury, Basingstoke triangle.
Being out of town, Calleva Park enjoys good traffic flows, even at peak time. The M4 (junction 12) is only 8 miles away and the M3 (junction 6) is 9 miles away.
Trains from Reading and Newbury provide a service to Paddington with a journey time of only 20 minutes from Reading. Basingstoke provides services to Waterloo in approximately 45 minutes.
Newbury
Newbury has excellent road and railcommunications as the A34 and Junction 13 of the M4 are within easy reach. There is a railway station to the south of the Town Centre with services to the West Country and London Paddington. Newbury to Paddington is approximately 55 minutes.
Newbury offers a good range of day to day shopping, banking and recreational facilities. It is also home to Newbury Racecourse and the excellent Vineyard Restaurant and Hotel. There are also many other first class hotels, restaurants, golf courses and recreational facilities in the area.
Hungerford
Hungerford is 3½ miles from the M4 (Junction 14) and is very accessible to a number of major towns such as Swindon, Reading, Oxford, Newbury, Salisbury, Southampton, Bristol and London.
A tourist and shopping destination, Hungerford is also an attractive place to work having a number of good shops including two supermarkets, public houses, restaurants, hotels and numerous antique shops. Surrounding the town is delightful countryside through which flow the Rivers Kennet and Dun and the Kennet & Avon Canal, providing a number of attractive walks all within a few minutes of Hungerford High Street. |
